Negotiate this deeply devoted city on foot and spend time listening to the chanting of monks in monastery's before sampling traditional Ladakhi cuisine. We will spend eight days in a rustic village working along the community to renovate school buildings and make them fit for teaching. In the afternoon you can take part in local activities within the village and learn more about rural life in India before heading off into the mountains on an adventurous trek.
