NOBLE INVESTMENT GROUP has acquired the Homewood Suites by Hilton Salt Lake City | Downtown in Salt Lake City, Utah. The company, led by Mit Shah as CEO,said the city represents a fast-growing market. The 137-room hotel is in Salt Lake City's central business and entertainment district, according to Noble. The area contains more than 15 million square feet of office space and several corporate headquarters, including Zions Bancorporation, Questar Corporation, and Goldman Sachs. Also nearby are the Salt Palace Convention Center, Vivint Arena, Gallivan Center, Temple Square and the Utah State Capitol. More than 26 million passengers annually pass through the Salt Lake City International Airport, which is 4 miles west of downtown. "Salt Lake City has seen some of the highest in-migration trends leading up to and continuing through the global health crisis," Noble said in its statement. "The city boasts more than ten ski resorts within an hour's drive, as well as more than a dozen national parks and monuments. The AC Hotel Columbus Downtown is now open in Columbus, Georgia. It is owned by locally based RAM Hotels led by brothers Rinkesh Patel as president and Mitesh Patel executive vice president. The 125-room, six-story upscale hotel is in the city's uptown district where there are many restaurants, bars and shops along the city's main throughfare. The Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Huntsville Downtown is now open in Huntsville, Alabama. It is owned by Chattanooga, Tennessee-based Vision Hospitality Group led by Mitch Patel as president and CEO. The 150-room hotel will be operated by Vision's subsidiary Humanist Hospitality. It is near the Von Braun Center multi-purpose indoor arena as well as various boutiques, restaurants breweries and craft coffee shops. NOBLE INVESTMENT GROUP has acquired two hotels in National Landing, a mixed-use development in Arlington, Virginia, near Washington, D.C. The acquisitions come days after the Atlanta-based company, led by Mit Shah as CEO bought two hotels in Savannah, Georgia. The hotels are the 162-room Hampton Inn & Suites National Landing and the 248-room Hilton Garden Inn National Landing. The neighborhoods of Crystal City, Pentagon City and Potomac Yard comprise the National Landing development, which includes of offices, residential, dining, retail, parks, bike paths, and walking trails. "National Landing is home to more than seventeen million square feet of office, a highly skilled workforce of more than 50,000 people, and an affluent residential population. Virginia's largest walkable downtown, National Landing, further benefits from billions of dollars in private and public investments," Noble said in a press release. "Most notably are the $2.5 billion Amazon HQ2 under development, which will create 25,000 new jobs in National Landing, and Virginia Tech's Innovation Campus, which is expected to drive a new era of technology for the greater Washington D.C. area."

Jennifer Stilwell is the new vice president of marketing for auroHOTELS, led by D.J. Rama as president and CEO. Previously, she served as chief marketing officer for VisitGreenvilleSC, the destination marketing organization for Greenville, South Carolina, where auroHOTELS is based. Prior to VisitGreenvilleSC, Stilwell led tourism brand marketing for Leslie Advertising, handling accounts such as the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism. She also worked for New York ad agency Warren/Kremer representing NYCVB, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, La Cabana in Aruba and Club Med. A native of New Jersey, Stilwell graduated from Rollins College. The AC Hotel by Marriott Greenville Downtown is open in Greenville, South Carolina. It is owned by Auro Hotels led by Dharmendra D.J. Rama as president and CEO. The 8-story, 196-room upscale hotel is in Camperdown Plaza near Falls Park, the Reedy River, the Peace Center Performing Arts center, Kroc Center Greenville, the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Sirrine Stadium. It includes seven restaurants and bars, including the tapas bar Paloma, the rooftop Juniper and The Press Room speakeasy. "The opening of the AC Hotel Greenville Downtown and Paloma marks an exciting milestone for Auro Hotels," Rama said. The Hyatt House In Beaverton, Oregon, is now open. It is a joint venture developed by NewcrestImage led by Mehul Patel as chairman and CEO and Canterbury Hotel Group led by Arvind Patel as CEO. The 125-room, 5-floor extended-stay Hyatt House by NewcrestImage is near Beaverton's city hall, the 550-seat Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, the Tualatin Valley and Cooper Mountain Nature Park. Also close are corporate headquarters for Nike, Reser's Fine Foods and optics manufacturer Leupold & Stevens. The SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Odessa in Odessa, Texas, is now open. It is owned by Shivbkrishna LLC led by Manish Bhakta. The 110-room hotel is near the Odessa Meteor Crater, the second largest meteor crater in the U.S., the Parker House Ranching Museum and Monahans Sandhills State Park. Amenities include a fitness center, indoor pool and two different spaces for meetings and events. Fairfield Inn & Suites Oklahoma City Downtown is now open in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Marriott International franchise is owned and managed by Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Anish Hotels Group under its founder, President and CEO Andy Patel. The 133-room hotel is the first to open in the new downtown convention center area, adjacent to the new $290 million Convention Center set to open in September. Nearby are Chesapeake Energy Arena, Bricktown Ballpark, Myraid Gardens, and the new $140 million Scissortail Park. Amenities include a full-service bar featuring pre-prohibition craft cocktails, a fitness center, business services, and a 988-square-foot meeting space.

Aiden by Best Western @ Warm Springs Hotel and Event Center is now open in Warm Springs, Georgia. The 50-acre mountain-top resort is owned by Kathy Patel. The 52-room hotel is one hour away from south of Atlanta. Nearby are the Little White House of President Franklin Roosevelt and F.D. Roosevelt State Park, the Wild Animal Safari and Full Circle Animal Sanctuary, Great Wolf Lodge, Warm Springs Vineyard and Winery and Fitzgerald Fruit Farms. The Residence Inn by Marriott Richmond West is open in Midlothian, Virginia. It is owned by Shamin Hotels, led by CEO Neil Amin in Chester, Virginia. The 111-suite extended=stay hotel is near Johnston-Willis Hospital and 20 minutes from downtown Richmond. Other nearby attractions are Richmond Ice Zone, Huguenot Park, Chesterfield Towne Center and River City Sportsplex. The pet-friendly hotel's amenities include a meeting room, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center. Stonehill CRE, the real estate arm of Stonehill, has finalized a $52 million senior loan agreement with Starpoint Properties to fund the construction of Lotus Point Apartments, a 245-unit multifamily development in Mesa, Arizona, within the Phoenix Metropolitan Statistical Area. The construction of this four-story building is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025, Stonehill said in a statement. "This investment mirrors our sought-after strategy - a quality property with an experienced sponsor in a growing market," said Taylor Pike, senior vice president at Stonehill CRE. "Phoenix stands as a strong job growth market due to diverse employment opportunities. Single-family home development has not kept pace, and with rising mortgage rates, well-located multifamily projects will remain in high demand." This 6-acre site, adjacent to a retail center and within walking distance of the metro light rail, will provide studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units, along with amenities such as a fitness center, clubhouse, co-working area, pool, and parking options, Stonehill said.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Cookeville in Cookeville, Tennessee, is now open. It is owned by NHK Hotels LLC and operated by Image Hotel Management, both led by Neil Patel as CEO. "On Aug. 14, 1986, Neil Patel, CEO and founder of Image Hotel Management, opened his first hotel, Executive Inn, in Cookeville," said Karen Patel, managing partner of Image Hotel Management. "Thirty-seven years later, we are delighted to open our Home2 Suites here and continue our partnership with Hilton Hotels." The 102-room hotel is near Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, and Fall Creek Falls state parks, Image said in a statement. Hotel amenities include full kitchens, an indoor saline pool and a fitness center. The property includes a "backyard" with outdoor seating, a seasonal fire pit, pet pit stop, putting green, and yard games. The Cumberland Room offers 1,500 square feet of conference space with a spacious pre-function area and catering kitchen.

BEST WESTERN HOTELS & Resort executives say the company is riding a wave of success that brought its members to Hawaii for its 2023 Annual Convention. Best Western benefited from budgeting for a forecasted recession that now seems unlikely this year, and saw continued growth domestically and internationally with India "top of mind." Other topics addressed during the convention at Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu last week include the strategy to be followed by Joelle Park, Best Western's newly hired senior vice president and chief marketing officer. Jessica Kramer is the new CEO of hotel operations and collaboration platform, Lodgistics. Also, Wendy Zapach joined the company as chief revenue officer and Jami Poe is the new vice president for sales. The three new appointments will support the expansion of the operations platform provider, led by Shaunak Patel, the company's co-founder as well as president of North Carolina-based Parks Hospitality Group. Kramer previously served in executive leadership roles at TravelClick, ALICE and SevenRooms, which included running sales, revenue operations, business development, mergers and acquisitions and partnerships, according to the company. REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT competition She Has a Deal 2022 SHaDPitch Today's Woman competitor Amina Gilyard James recently acquired the Quality Inn in the Raleigh neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. James said the competition prepared her company for the acquisition. The 70-room hotel is near downtown Memphis, Beale Street and AutoZone Park, home of the Triple-A Memphis Redbirds and the Memphis International Airport, according to SHaD. Amenities in the property include a business center and indoor heated pool and hot tub. James' firm Duke Ventures plans to invest $500,000 to refresh the property with new paint, FF&E and additional cosmetic improvements. "The SHaDPitch competition and its curriculum provide an invaluable inside look at the hotel industry," James said. "It provided a roadmap and extensive network that gave me foundational knowledge of the hotel acquisition and ownership space.
