This was a battlefield between the Viet Minh Army and French Army in 1954.   The result was the French in Indochina was cut and Viet Nam was divided into two parts: North and South. While the BJP secured 240 seats, the NDA alliance's total is approximately 292, according to India's election commission. The I.N.D.I.A coalition of opposition parties picked up 234 seats, defying exit polls that predicted a much lower tally.

The trip was planned during the early summer, perfect weather with many festivals to relish. I had heard a lot about the festival known as "Holi". Apparently, it is a celebration of the victory of good over evil; and it is celebrated with colors that are smeared on people and their clothes.
