There are TGI Fridays, Creepy Fridays, Image Fridays, Representation Fridays, NPR's Technology Fridays, Realistic Fridays, Friday Night Lights, and then there's my Friday and your Friday. The non-Friday. We are going to work late today, and early tomorrow.
There is no perceptible end or starting to a week, a month, or even a year. All of them seem to work together. One day morphs into another. If not for the calendar in the lower right hand corner of the monitor we're able to not distinguish one hour, one day or one month from still another.
We're members of the 'do da' tribe. Our main interest in life, 'do da' check come yet? We just want to get our hands on that check always. There are costs to pay, mouths to feed, and concerns to borrow from tomorrow. It is only 10 days, 76 times, until Christmas!!!
In the mean time there is Halloween candy (a lot of costly Halloween candy and designs) to buy, Thanksgiving Dinner to supply, and..oh, what is the use?
God only gave 24 hours to us in a day because that is all we can handle..and to handle these few hours we must sleep at least 8 of these! However, Friday is hardly over before we are consumed with the next day's and next week's identified problems and cares. No one understands. Worse, no one cares!
I am talking about, you've a $3,000.00 payroll to produce next Friday, and you do not have $100.00. Sure, you just made payroll today but now you are broke and you don't discover how you're likely to allow it to be in a few days.
