I've been trying for over a day now to work out how to get the category navigation into the left side column. I haven't been this frustrated since Bush got re-elected.

Now the problem is that I don't want to show those Static Blocks in SUB categories!

Can anyone give me the sql insert command to do this? Or even which tables are affected?

I'm trying to apply a price rule where if you buy any item from a specific category (or item), you will get 10% discount.

The closest I get is a bunch of errors saying its an incorrect category even though I have put in the correct id.

I am trying to find out why the subcategories in my layered navigation strangely is showing on left sides of screen when the the category for it is posistioned otherwise?
