Today's university students tend to be more narcissistic and self-centered than their

predecessors and the pattern may be damaging to American culture and personal relationships.

This story has been spreading like wild fire. Children are on Myspace. Kids use

Facebook. The Full Time Man of the Year is 'You' (the average person).

If we don't like our teachers, we may blog. If we do not like our jobs,

We are able to blog. If we do not like our lives, the people around us, the planet

    around us, we can blog.

We apparently have coddled these young ones. We told them they're special.

We've made them narcissistic. And now we are to think that most of

this is planning to break down their power to be social? To live and work

together? Tear the fabric of social order?

It is a cycle, individuals. The kids are fine. It's yet another generational

Issue. Allow me to advise you what several past generations lived through, what

they were marked and how they went 'the people' a little mad.

    Peace, Love, Dope (Hippies..free love)

    Ban the Bomb (Anti-nuclear proliferation)

Hell No! We shall perhaps not go! (Anti-war activists)

Activate, Stay tuned, Drop out (Anti-society's rules)

Do not trust anyone over 30 (Anti-parents and the organization)
    mlm lead generation
Keep on Truckin' (Remain in tune, but calm)

I'm OK, You are OK (Self-help is OK)

    Used by...

    The ME generation

    Greed is good/Think Rich

    Generation X

    Era Y

This technology has brought the move to being self-centered and

being noted by the media, industries and people they've

    Influenced the most.

    This generation is killing papers.

That generation gets its information from the web, friends or alternative

    sources.

This technology is discussing music instead of buying music.

This generation is watching less network TELEVISION.

This era is playing game titles more and interested in taking part in activities less.

That generation's top TV show is really a national karaoke match.

This generation has recognized that reality SHOWS are real activity.

This technology has a style. Their own.

    This technology doesn't mail letters.

This generation is related. (Cell phones, Internet, emails)

These kids have been put by us through our personal divorces, gender after Aids, the

acceptance of special interest groups. We tell them the national debt is

yours, war on terror lasts past your creation and that whenever you retire

You will see no social security or silver by the end of the range. And that

they've tuned us out out why. Just like the kid who is planted in front of

his video game and called to dinner, we've to handle the fact, we have been

told 'Whatever'! By-the technology we created.
