I have often wondered if there was a tool to organize my own library of books and I think th is may be it.

Soshiku is a simple but powerful tool that manages your high school or college assignments. Soshiku keeps track of when your assignments are due and can even notify you via email or SMS.

Parents need to know that GCFLearnFree.org provides lessons and self-paced tutorials for reading, math, and computer skills. Though the site feels designed for older kids and adults, kids of all ages can find useful, educational activities and lessons to explore. Kids don't need to register to view the site's videos or other educational elements. However, to track learning history or register for one of the online courses, kids will need to enter an email address, username, and password.

"When we're working with our K-8 students it is always a concern that students privacy and anonymity be maintained. Most sites require users to register so they can sign in to use the resource. Many educators will create an account and log students in to use a web 2.0 resource in the library, lab or classroom as a variety of sites provide for education accounts. The extra steps necessary to set up such accounts might take time that any librarian or teacher finds hard to locate in their busy day. Surely too a majority of us are quite tired of remembering every username and password we create for ourselves let alone keeping track of those of our students. "Teach and test the basics of online life" Great site where teachers can set up their class to earn their own digital passport. Free-teachers can track individual student progress through the lessons, games, and assessments found online. Works great on computer/Chromebook but it is Flash based and only works on iPad with a paid app.
