Having a variety of groups throughout the day I find that I am always looking for different ways to present a concept. This particular site had a multitude of activities for students and activities for educators (needing PD ideas).

This RSS feed site recommends a place called Watchknow to get free videos to use in a classroom. The best part is they are ranked by educators so you are less likely to get a dud and/or waste your time.

This website site can help me gets students to write a better biography of historical figures as we learn about them in class. It goes step by step through the process which should make the idea of writing a biography less overwhelming.

This would be a fun site to go to when there is extra class time to fill. It can also help students in their study on nouns, adjectives, and verbs. The end result is a silly story that you made up!

Enter the world of Science Bob to try lots of home experiments, watch experiment videos, and get science fair ideas. I found this through my Resources for Teacher's blog. A neat site to help with teaching science. There are questions kids ask that Bob answers, such as how are Pop Rocks candies made. It will also take you to other science websites to learn about other topics such as volcanoes.

This is a great site for immigration discussion.
