I am going to offer a unit on the Civil War and its impact on World History in my World History class (mostly 10th graders) for the first time. They quit teaching about the Civil War in US History that students take as juniors in our district, and I think they need more than what they got in 7th grade. Just saying! This site highlights reading reviews categorized by author, new books, coming soon books, series books and books into movies.  This is a terrific resource for kids who need a little help in choosing a new book or genre.  I'll be using this with my MS kids! I also like that it has podcasts of books as well!
