A webiste that introduce musical concepts to kids in a fun way. More appropriate for grades 3-6 (good reading skills combined with computer knowledge) than younger. Might be a bit 'kiddy' for older kids, but I enjoyed it. It has changed a bit since they firsts introduced it in that there are a few more activities.

Sheep and wolves is a fun and easy game for elementary physical education. Very limited amount of equipment is needed and it keeps students moving! Sheep & wolves can be played inside or outside.

Yesterday, my youngest son wrote a two-sides handwritten letter to Kanye West. He would not let me read it, other than with a quick glance, and then he asked me to help with the formatting of the envelope (I guess he was never really taught that in school or at home).

This site has a lot of useful tips, lesson plans, and worksheets to teach students in elementary and middle school. The material and information covers content areas including reading, writing, math, science, and social students. It also includes lesson plans and activities for history.

Great site to match up with my Nonfiction Unit in English to tie it to learning in Science

This lesson format allows for 21st century skills to be applied to research projects. It adds the element of computer technology to a cooperative research activity. By using graphing/tables/illustrations it can appeal to visual learners, adding an element of creativity.

This would be a great hook or buy in for many students. Have to register but its free.
