I am going to offer a unit on the Civil War and its impact on World History in my World History class (mostly 10th graders) for the first time. They quit teaching about the Civil War in US History that students take as juniors in our district, and I think they need more than what they got in 7th grade. Just saying! I think this blog I added to my RSS will be a great help.

Today's topic again focuses on another valuable teacher freebie, and free is in my price range. How about you? Today's post gives each of us a rare professional development opportunity - learning from other teachers who teach the same curriculum as you.Think about it.Wouldn't the idea of having just a first grade teacher conference be phenomenal? How about a drama teacher conference?Or one for middle school English teachers? What sort of conversations would you have? What resources would you share?
I love this blog for ideas in K-5 Math instruction as well as the network of other teachers I have been able to learn from that are also interested in this blog.
