Mark Waters on 16 Nov 13I learnt a lot about this pat, it's a really serious, topical point. Many mollusca that have calcium carbonate shells are at risk because the increased acid in the oceans are breaking down the (alkali) shells. The knock on effects of this among a food web can be devastating!
