Basic tutorials to get beginners accustomed to Photoshop.

A fantastic place to take Photoshop beginners.

Transparency can be both empowering and inhibiting. Ask some of my students who try to make excuses for work not being done. Since my classes are fully digital, the Internet catches these folks every time...date stamping, digital attendance notes, permanent links. Plausible deniability just doesn't cut it. Because of this, youth need to learn a whole new accountability. Fortunately, many of my students are stepping up...and they're going places with this whole new mindset.

I was working a gig in Vegas with a brand new Phantom Flex high speed digital cinema camera. I had to try it out. In fact, I never did go to bed that night. I opened up a wormhole shooting at 2,564 frames per second.

Photoshop has tons of potential for improving photos in one way or another. No matter how much experience you have with Photoshop there is probably more that you can learn in these areas. This is a categorized collection of tutorials that will show you some new tricks for photo touch-ups.

Bar codes scanned by a cell cam or web cam can link to multi-media, text, and employ GPS.

Anyone seen the Lord of the Rings cartoon? It wasn't very good, but the animation was realistic because of a technique called 'Rotoscoping', filming live actors an animated over the top of them. It's a bit frowned upon by the animation community, but don't worry about them, we're web people. Flash MX lets you embed video into your movies, so lets have a go eh?

We just got our graphics tablet drivers installed on the school network. Can't wait to try rotoscoping.
