Teacher Vision is a great website for teachers and parents. I used this website when I was preparing one of my lesson plans for field work. The website includes lesson plans, printables, themes, classroom management ideas, and professional development resources.

Once she became a teacher, she introduced her students to blogging. The article discusses many benefits of student blogging. Worth reading!

I found a blog that lists 20 ideas for using Wordle. Many of the ideas can be used in the classroom. I think students of all ages will find Wordle fun and interesting.

This website has many links to websites that give great ideas for teaching children how to write, for example, I searched around and found an idea for creative writing: students sit in circle, start a story, when time is up, pass the story along to have peer continue it.

For the children's book writers out there. The organization provides members information about the children's book market. It does cost money to join but the organization has several types of grants for writers, one of which is funded by the organization and Judy Blume. It's worth checking out.

eBook Crossroads is a website for novice or published authors. It is a site "dedicated to information and links for readers, writers, publishers and entrepreneurs." Some of the information I looked at on this site were marketing articles, a list of agents, publishing software, and a writers blog.

This is an awesome website. It's a website for youth through 13 years of age and teachers. Children submit their art or writing pieces with possible publication. The website displays art work and allows the audience to read what the children have created or listen to the story, which is actually read by the child. Really cool!

I thought that many of you would be interested in this website. Also, freelance writers and journalists are given the opportunity to take advantage of a new outlet for their work which will reach millions of viewers per month.
