SAMR & TPACK in Action - 1 views

If you scroll down through this article, you will get to the TPACK section. It has some great examples for each of the areas. It is just helpful to see some specific examples to help understand how it looks in the classroom.

Abby, this would be a great topic for the "mini-project" that we will be working on in the next few week. We are heavily focusing on the SAMR model in our school division. I like the examples provided as well.

Resources by Academic Subject or by topics I found this in my last class and have used it a lot this year. It is very helpful when trying to figure out how to incorporate technology into a lesson that you have created. I like the different methods of searching the resources as well.

I assume that many students nowadays have twitter accounts or access. This twitter group seems to be a great collection of humanities resources, and using a social media site would hopefully excite students. I even thought that it would be fun to have students make a twitter account of historical figures, imagine a twitter war between Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis!

This is within the Creation section on DiRT, it can allow students to take notes online and be able to access them easily and upload files and images along with their text. This would be a great way for students to stay organized and share notes easier.

This site lets students easily collect websites and articles and store them in one "personal library." This would be great for students writing historical research papers, needing to keep track of all the articles being used.

This site lets students create and share bibliographies, as well as keep track of citations. I think for the many papers and research done in humanities classes this would be very beneficial for students, to have a way to keep track of their sources and avoid plagiarism.
