  • Motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, is a key factor in the success of students at all stages of their education, and teachers can play a pivotal role in providing and encouraging that motivation in their students. Of course that’s much easier said than done, as all students are motivated differently and it takes time and a lot of effort to learn to get a classroom full of kids enthusiastic about learning, working hard, and pushing themselves to excel.

    Cabell, we all need these reminders to help students, especially this time of year when the classroom needs a pick me up! I love all of the suggestion , but I especially like "Give students a sense of control", "Offer varied experiences" and "Give students responsibility" I plan to add a link to this site in one of the upcoming modules.

    Robin, This is a fantastic site to get a quick tutorial on just about any technology topic! I can see that all of the MS Office versions are available. I also found tutorials for the most current version of Google Drive as well. Great find!

    Google is another great resource of pictures.  Do a search for the picture you want then click on images.  Then click on "search tools."  You can then click on "usage rights" to find pictures that are able to be used legally.
