What is it? - Zentangle - 1 views

This is an new art form my Mom introduced me to.  Check it out.  It is a mix between zen meditation and art.  She is really good at it, me with a 6 month old not so good- my mind doesn't seem to rest or meditate at all.
  • Fun and Relaxing Creating Zentangle art provides a fun and lighthearted way to relax and intentionally facilitate a shift in focus and perspective. Zentangle's method of creating art is unencumbered by dogma and cost which can weigh on other approaches. Nevertheless, it is sufficiently structured and organized so you can enjoy and benefit from an activity that otherwise might be considered whimsical.

An online Learning Network- Has any one used this with their classes? I am using it as a trial with one of my classes to help teach Internet Safety/Web 2.0 skills. I am enjoying it but there are some limitations I don't like. Any other recommendations for a free CMS?

This site has a worldwide collection of various children's books. You can search by country or language and topic. It is good site for students to explore stories from other countries (and the US), and whenever possible be able to read in another language, maybe even their own native tongue.

There is some interesting information here but I am not sure if the site is being maintained. I loved the Why Connect movie - especially when the showed the word "passion" and inserted a "t" after the i... Pass it on... I am totally stealing this for a book promotion I am doing. The site was running slowly so I am going to try to check out more later.
