using photos with English-Language Learners (ELLs) can be enormously effective in helping them learn far more than a thousand words -- and how to use them.
Thinglink allows one to import a picture and then link written text, images, or videos to various places on the picture. Thinglink‘s gallery shows examples of a picture of a famous person with information about the person linked or pictures of past presidents that students need to identify as well as many other options.
An online Learning Network- Has any one used this with their classes? I am using it as a trial with one of my classes to help teach Internet Safety/Web 2.0 skills. I am enjoying it but there are some limitations I don't like. Any other recommendations for a free CMS?
