The organizers focus on the key elements of comic strips and allow students to choose backgrounds, characters and props, as well as to compose diaglogue. The Comic Creator can be used by students from kindergarten through high school in any and all content areas. For example, students could create a comic strip in social studies that shows how they can be a good citizen when learning about citizenship. They could also create a comic strip as a retelling response or after after reading a novel as a means of evaluation. They could also use it to illustrate newly acquired vocabulary words. The tool is easy to use and also includes a comic strip planning sheet, which can be printed out for students to use when drafting and revising their work. After students have completed their comic, they can print out and illustrate their final version
