This article presents how educators have already used Web 2.0 to expand the learners' options. I want to talk particularly about Skype. This is an amazing tool that allows people to communicate in meaningful ways by being able to use the voice feature but most importantly to use the video call. When learners are able to see who they are talking to, they can make a better connection and they can even present their environment and any object needed for an explanation. Skype is a collaboration tool that complements other web 2.0 resources by allowing teams to have meetings in real time. This article is from 2011. My question is, why haven't more schools engaged in using Skype for educational purposes? https://diigo.com/07svbc
