Understanding Discussion Forums - 4 views

  First of all, I think it is great that we are all getting a better understanding of what discussion forums are so that we can use them correctly not only in this class but in all of our other classes and our classrooms as well. The main thing that I received from the literature is that discussion forums are a great place to build a social community of support that we need as online learners. This in turn also helps us to collaborate more and share in a way that we would just as if we were in person.
