The results are in on the voting to formulate OpenOffice.org an Apache Incubator project and the proposal got accepted, by most of the voters. There has been some disapproval over the proposal of turning over OpenOffice source code, at the present owned by Oracle, to the Apache foundation, despite the fact that the Document Foundation was shipping on with LibreOffice, a split of the original OpenOffice.org.
