Technology does not replace Teachers but support Teachers

There are still many who are not sure about the future of technology integration in classroom. I was even told not to tell too much about technology in school because it sounds like we do not need teachers any more; technology will replace teachers. I thought it absurd, but I found that even people like an assistant principal expressed the similar concern. I would like to explore to assure that technology is not replacing teacher, but supporting teachers and students to do better. (This group was created to respond to the course requirement of INDT-521, Information Literacy in the Digital Age in Universtiy of Mary Washington, a part of the graduate certification Course for Instructional Design and Technology.
