  So... how's the Year of Languages treating you, and how are you treating it?

  Good on you for going first. Someone had to :-) So far the Year of Languages is treating me well, though I would appreciate it if it would slow down just a little.
  
  As for how I'm treating it, well, one of my (many) aims for the year is to get some really good intercultural conversations happening in my classes and some realisation among students that languages aren't just important, they're essential. See if that happens! Gotta love the challenge of Year 8.
