As the ethics of the use of AI to create bodies of work that normally would be created by a human, the question is out there, of who owns the rights to that work? Does the person that created the prompt own it or does the entity that wrote the code that made that prompt become something new own it?
Thankfully even the CEO of the company that created ChatGPT sees how this fascinating digital tool can become monumentally dangerous in the wrong hands. Just because we can build something like this doesn't mean that we should.
If we are worried about AI killing high school English class, then maybe we need to change how we assess high school English class and how we teach writing.
