26/9/07 - Nearly every TV theme tune you could imagine; varying degrees of quality but brilliant nonetheless.

Seems as if it's all acoustic but it's great quality mood music for classroom learning / background music and to enhance multimedia presentations. Also useful for providing examples of different genres.

18/4/08 - Amateurs and enthusiasts have contributed to this huge database of music in a wide range of genres. Useful for ICT - podcasting or videos / multimedia. Most of this is free to use but you do need to check.

Search for FREE and legitimate music - samples/ give-aways etc. Impressive engine if you're looking for MP3 quality music from Rock, Pop or Classical (I haven't tested it with anything else but imagine it would do a decent job).

7/4/08 - Very handy for finding music and sound effects - be careful of copyrighted material though...

Very cheap and legal (according to the BBC) MP3 download site: entire albums available for just over 60p and indvidual tracks cost around 10p. As at 4th April 2006 there were 500,000 tracks listed.
