A great source for instrumental and choral music

I really like this website because it's an excellent tool to use when trying to teach about different periods of music and their characteristics. Instead of digging through your music library, you can quickly scan imslp.org to see if a piece of music you'd like to analyze is available. Very awesome tool both as a student and a teacher.

This is also really useful for looking at original scores of early music, to explain the origins of notation and the development of the stave, barlines, etc.

Chord finder, including split chords and chord variations. Also features standard and exotic guitar scales for lefthanded guitar. Interactive site for guitar students. Scales and modes with TAB and fretboard charts and chord charts.

"AllMusic is an online music guide service website and provides comprehensive music info including reviews and biographies. Get recommendations for new music to listen to, stream or own." It's just a great resource site for exploring music releases.

I use this site when I need to listen to musical excerpts of music from different genres.
