As we know 90% of all foundational brain growth happens by the age of five. Babies are born with billions of unconnected brain cells waiting for stimulation, repetition, and connection with the outside new world. When you put a baby in front of rapidly changing images they are mesmerized. Why? Because things are flashing in front of them and they are trying to grasp meaning but can't because they have no mental context in which they can attach the new information to. Their brains develop expecting information to come to them in a rapid fire motion. But the world is slower than that (go back and watch old Mr Roger''s videos). When the brain is conditioned to expect rapid visuals and it doesn't find it inattention results. We are seeing more children with attention issues in school.
