Teachers Without Borders on 01 Feb 12The Shoah Memorial in Paris is the largest centre in Europe for research and information on the Second World War and the genocide of the Jewish people. In 2011 alone, 40,000 pupils attended workshops there, of which 2,240 were 9- to 12-year-olds. Organized visits from secular public and private primary schools in the Paris region accounted for over 80% of this age group.
