That's sick. First he shoots his teacher and other kids, and then shoots himself. WTH?

This is insane. As a nation, we need to make decision to start maintaining gun control. Honestly, I'd be scared to be a teacher with all the shooting's at schools. How that 7th grader got a gun in the first place is completely crazy.

Even though this has been a continual problem, we still continue to not have any government reform. This what we should come to expect in schools if we don't make any progress, and progress doesn't seem likely at this point.

I think the fact that this happened in a middle school should be huge warning signs to all of us. School shootings started in colleges like Virginia tech and moved to high schools. Most shootings that we hear about that occur in grade schools are perpetrated by adults. The fact that this crime was committed by a seventh grader proves that we have a big problem on our hands. My exchange student had never heard of a school shooting happening in her country. This is something that someone in America thought up and now we have to deal with it because it is getting worse.

It is not really that we are lacking gun control. After all guns are not weapons, they are tools. People kill people. The boy was clearly mentally disturbed. If we did not glorify violence and this so-called "gangster culture" these shootings would be less likely to occur. The child should have trusted an adult enough to explain the mental\emotional strife he was going though.

Guns are tools. That kill people. The ease at which almost anyone can procure a gun is honestly terrifying. Given the kid that did this is probably really fucked up but having guns available for the kid to use is extremely dangerous.
