Recently I went back and visited the north-east coast to visit my uncle and his family. It had been so inexperienced there and I appreciated the beauty of my environments. But, after having a week to be there, I found myself missing home. Suddenly, the place I was in didn't seem as beautiful while the landscape looking forward to me at home. Some might call me crazy, but the wilderness was more beautiful to me compared to lush, green forest I was visiting. Nonetheless, more to the point, I love Mesa at Christmas and it is during that season where I feel the most that Mesa, Arizona is my home.

Here in the area, we don't receive snow too often, and when we take action usually only lasts for several hours. Consequently, Arizonans are not used to the normal Xmas everyone else in the united states tends to look forward to. We don't have sled rides, or snowball fights, or the miracle of the white Christmas, but we've something better. In Mesa, AZ, we've the LDS Christmas lights show on their temple grounds, Merry Main Street, and the Landmark.

Every year my family and I go to the LDS Temple to check out the Christmas lights. You'll find just 1 million lights on display each year! Going there helps my loved ones and me to know the actual meaning of Christmas. Inside the heart located next to the temple, we watch a film concerning the birth of his life and Jesus Christ. It will help me to consider that Xmas isn't about getting lots of presents, but so much more. I feel closer to my family annually after visiting the temple and which means feeling more in the home. My cousin discovered attorney by searching the Washington Guardian.

Mesa is high in many historical structures and what better way to see them then every year at the Merry Main Street Xmas party. Only at that celebration, Main Street decorates its street and stores to find yourself in the Xmas spirit. Each of the stores stay open late and there are even fun things you can do with the children there. I wander these streets with my friends all through Merry Main Street and we laugh and laugh and only have so much fun.

At last, the 3rd thing I like to do at Xmas is visit the Landmark restaurant for my company's annual Christmas lunch. The Landmark restaurant was actually the first church built here in Mesa. After closing, the church was later restored into the Landmark restaurant, but nonetheless has the same style since it did in those days. The funniest part about going to this restaurant is the fact that down in the attic, you'll find pictures all over the walls of what Mesa appeared as if when it first started off.

To me, house is where memories are designed. Additionally, with memories such as the people I get every year at Christmas in Mesa, and year around, I will always call this city my home. I don't know why anybody would want to live anywhere than in Arizona.
