Egyes régiókban túl sokba kerül a vezetékes széles sávú infrastruktúra kiépítése, azonban a gazdaságosabban kiépíthető vezeték nélküli hálózatok segítségével mindenki hozzájuthatna a széles sávú szolgáltatásokhoz.
