This website has great information from the NY times. It is a way that people can blog about the issue presented for that day and people can voice their opinion as well as view others opinions on the issue. The blog I looked at pertained to Education but there are other blogs, such as politics, etc.

Kathy Schrock's Website-this site is part of Discovery Website. The website provides many interesting sites where the teachers can find information for lessons and find information for enhancing their classroom. Kathy even gives her picks of the week.

PBS Teachers provides PreK-12 educational resources and activities for educators tied to PBS programming and correlated to local and national standards and professional development opportunities delivered online.

This site gives lesson plans and activities you can do with children in the classroom. In addition, it gives educational videos to use in the classroom and helpful articles which will help teachers develop their learning. I like the classes that teachers can take to understand different concepts related to children's learning.

Differentiating our classrooms and providing choice is always a challenge. This website offers basic templates to get started with in creating menu and choice boards (tic-tac-toe boards). It is from another district but has some useful links. I like to see what resources other discticts are using.

For those of you not in Muscogee County, their website http://secondaryinstruction.com/ is one of my favs and offers many useful resources.

I think that a good, relavent brain teaser can be a good closing to a lesson or segway into a lesson. I like this website because I think it can be useful for several subjects.

This website is very beneficial to educators. It provides some of the latest articles (like the articles we have been reading for assignments) for free! Stay in touch with professional opinions and "how to's" during the school year and summer. This website also gives educators a place to blog and communicate with one another. I'm posting this website because with all the articles I have been reading for class, it seems like our school system is failing and many people are unaware of the changes. (or lack there of) I want to keep myself updated on the latest information!

Generations United provide a connections between people who are trying to bring resilience to their school or community, and grants, scholarships and new creative ideas. Generations United improves the lives of children, youth, and older adults through intergenerational programs, policies, and strategies. I'm posting this website because our discussion for chapter four focued on bringing resilence to the school. This website provides different strategies to do so. :)

Most of the training is "basic", however there are some teachers in the district who can't respond to email because they are not computer savvy. This website provides basic information on how to use the computer and other "basic needs"
