  •
This is a cool web 2.0 tool that allows you to add a list of links and submit it to get a single link to them all, conveniently displayed in tabs. You can then share it on email, IM, Twitter or SMS. It's perfect for teachers who want kids to visit a series of websites.

Simple private real-time sharing and collaboration by drop.io - 0 views

The best web 2.0 tool for simple real-time sharing, collaboration and presentation. You can name your place, set due dates, limit collaboration and it's easy to add stuff. It's free. Real-time. Good for having a presentation. And there's an 800 number you can call into for a conference call to add audio. And you can add content to your presentation from a mobile source. The moderator sets the limit 4 people.

Team WhiteBoarding with Twiddla - Painless Team Collaboration for the Web - 0 views

  •
This is a web-based meeting tool that allows people to share drawing. It's a lot like etherpad. This site requires a login and lets teachers have professional accounts. If you have an edu account that works easiest, but if you have a dot.org email they will allow it. You can only have one whiteboard open at one time - not good for multitab browsers. You can upload images on this board. This site has a chat port too.

Sporcle - 1 views

Sporcle is one of the most addicting, trivia based, gaming web sites that students will enjoy for reviewing content or new material pre-testing. Instructors can create their own content using anyone of the three major delivery methods. Image identification, fill in the blanks, or answer bank selection. Students challenge themselves to answer the questions before time runs out and then scored based on percentage completed. Once the game is over, students are revealed the correct answered and where they fall in the percentages of games played. Sporcle is free and can be run on any platform or web browser. Games or test are easily created using manually entry or loaded from a document. Sporcle allows all users to create content giving everyone opportunity to add content specific to unique topics. Once content is created, the links can be shared and the data is view able for all users to see and collect.

Socrative is a student response system. It can be used with any laptop or smartphone. Teachers can create or share quizzes, polling questions, or exit tickets. Socrative allows the teacher to see in real time students' answers. The students also receive instant results. It also has a racing game in which students can work individually or in groups. Socrative seems to be a great resource for any teacher. Teachers are able to give instant feedback to students. Given this, teachers would be able to adjust their teaching to reinforce concepts or reteach concepts. Socrative would be easy to integrate into any classroom as long as the teacher has access to laptops or the students are allowed to use their phones in the classroom.
