This study compared an intervention group who received handwriting interventions with a control group who did not receive any intervention. Children who received intervention for handwriting showed increased legibility of writing and better hand manipulation as compared to the control group. I have gotten to see work sample comparisons of students before and after OT and handwriting is more legible following a handwriting program.
