  There is numerous research about the use of weighted vests for children. Alternatively, this study looks at the use of compression vests which provide pressure and proprioceptive input to the child through the torso. Both weighted and compression vests are used in the schools I am at and the compression vest for one particular child has helped him to be aware of his body in space.
