Everyone wants to dress up like Heath Ledger did as the Joker in The Dark Knight but me I prefer Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker, he always seemed more sinister to me. Heath Ledger's version you new what to expect from but Jack Nicholson's Joker was far more sly.

In 1938 Action Comics editors was looking for a new comic book superhero similar to Superman, Bob Kane and Bill Finger got together and created that new superhero, Batman! Well according to Bob Kane he had drawn a picture of what he thought the Caped Crusader should look like, however, Frank Foster has a different story. But alas in 1939 the first Batman comic was published and the rest is 'history'. One major difference between Superman and Batman however is the fact that Superman has super powers which comes from his Kryptonian background while Batman is mortal, a simple human being who depends on his 'awesome gadgets'. In this lens we'll look at who's actually played the Caped Crusader over the years on television and the big screen. The Joker was drawn to look like a photographer of Conrad Veidt as he was in The Man Who Laughs (1928) and the name came from the playing cards which Finger had brought in one day. The Joker has also gone by many other aliases, The Clown Prince of Crime, Red Hood, Jack, Joseph 'Joe' Kerr, Clem Rusty, Mr. Rekoj, Jack White. A new study published in HealthDay News shows that 120 kids each day are rushed to the emergency room for tub related injuries, children age 4 and under accounting for most of these accidents.This doesn't even take into account the kids with minor injuries that never went to the hospital. Although burns and incidents of drowning or near-drowning are common bathtub accidents, new research shows more than 43,000 kids each year are injured by slipping & falling.
