Google+ has a community called Connected Classrooms. This site allows teachers to share information about technology, up coming workshops, new and innovative ideas, and applications that can be used in the classroom.

This website offers several links to professional development websites. There is also a calendar of workshops and educational events.

Apple offers a range of Professional Development workshops in leadership, basic skills, and curriculum integration held at your school or district site and designed to make sure you're using your Apple products most effectively to transform teaching and learning.

Laura Candler's website has many resources for teachers. She offers live and pre-recorded webinars for teachers to learn from. The webinars are free but she also offers in-person workshops for a fee.

This is a blog post that shows how to organize a binder to include a full nine weeks lesson plan.

This site has a Unit lesson plan template that is available for download.  Click on "Template for Unit Map" then select download word version. This is a basic template that includes the following fields: Unit title, concept, unit essential question, ideas, and skills. It includes space for 5 different subject areas.
