All-Star catcher Brian McCann has reached agreement on a five-year, $85 million contract with the New York Yankees, a major first step in an off-season that the club has vowed would be an active one. The agreement was confirmed to USA TODAY Sports by a club official with knowledge of the deal but not authorized to speak publicly, because it is still pending McCann passing a physical examination.

According to the study, Lionel Messi is the most valuable player in the world and his objective market value is between €217m and €253m (£185m-£215m). In all, there are 60 footballers in the top 5 league of the world, each with a market value of €20m-plus.

Leroy Sane is already officially a new Bayern Munich player after announcing both the Bavarian club and Manchester City on their social media accounts. The 24-year-old German international signs for five years until June 30, 2025, and the transfer is around 50 million euros.
