Russia could be on the verge of losing their spot in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics if WADA decides to declare the country's drug-testing authority incompatible with international rules. WADA has recently claimed in its statement that its CRC can hand another suspension to the Russian Anti-Doping Agency.

And if you looked at the stats, it was easy to see why the fight got the billing it did. Haye was giving away a small matter of 100lb to the giant Russian, who was taller than Haye by over a foot, and of course Valuev had a reach advantage to match.

The fight itself was fascinating, Haye's victory the result of a perfectly executed fight plan - though deliberately tweaked to accommodate a broken hand sustained early in the fight (from the Russian's big hard head!
