Whether you are a seasoned distance learner or are taking your very first online class, the online class discussion (also known as online bulletin board or message forum) is central to your online learning experience. It's not just a place to hang out, it's also a place where you can share information with others and most importantly get help.
July 25, 2013 By: David Kapuler A "Flipped Classroom" is a classroom that uses class time to do activities/lessons (guided by the teacher) and "homework" time for guided instruction, usually through video. Basically, it turns a classroom upside down: the learning of a topic is done at home and then the applied practice or work is done at school.
Bringing technology into the classroom almost always comes with a learning curve. Some teachers joke that their students picked up tech skills more easily than they did, and others still just don't get the training they need to effectively use the technology tools that they are given for their classrooms. So when you get an iPad (or iPads) for your classroom, what do you do now?
Thanks Terri. I really like Diigo a lot as it is such a great way to spread the word about wonderful resources like these. I also like the weekly blog/digest that is sent it. I find it very helpful.
