This is much like the diigo site we are using, except that I think it is a little bit more kid-friendly. I would be great to use to organize websites that students could go to for a research project, for instance.

The Teacher's Desk is a tool that has lesson plans, and writing tasks that would be useful for integrating writing into Math or other content areas. It focuses on 5th and 6th grade - and is language arts oriented, though I would explore this website for ideas on how to integrate writing into my class.

Website with grade specific lesson plans. These plans are very descriptive in what they aim to accomplish and what goals they attempt to meet. Very cool and helpful to a starting teacher trying to develop ideas. Remember, most of what you do in your class is taken and adapted from somewhere else.

I also let parents know about the site so they can help their child study or if the parents want to print worksheets for their children to have extra practice at home.
