She has an interest in demystifying the invisible systems embedded throughout domestic technology. This is also visible in the above artwork, Electrostatic Bell Choir (2012)."

"Some of the most challenging, rewarding, and fun sounds to record are those within the vast spectrum of fluids. Wet, sticky, viscous, mushy; the tactful use of fluid sounds can reinforce the realism and impact of a scene, or just be the punchline of a joke. In order to effectively communicate an idea to an audience, there are a few challenges in recording fluids to consider before dipping your toes in. While most of these considerations are technical in application, they all serve to realize an idea and bolster the narrative. For live-action projects, capturing the complexity of fluid sounds on location can often range from impractical to impossible, which is where foley steps in."

"In 2020 the national warning system (air raid siren) is scheduled to be decommissioned. Before this happens, I am hoping to create a special composition as a swan song for the system which fits the technical specs and acoustic qualities of the hardware. This piece is to be performed/deployed simultaneously through all 4300 sirens of the Netherlands at a set time in the future - its sound enveloping everybody. Potentially, this will also be the largest sound installation of the country; in any case it is the biggest instrument available. "

She combines song and video to create multimedia live performances that explore intimate emotional themes."

"Honey bees are one of the treasures in the world. An increase of waveform communication leads to good information exchange of mankind. In the biological view, it causes a lot of side effects and lifestyle changes in other living organisms. The drastic changes are causing the natural imbalance in the ecosystem and become a global issue. There are significant reasons for bee colony collapse disorder (CCD) like pesticides, disease and climate change. Recent studies reveal that a cell phone tower and mobile phone handset are also causing side effects to honey bees due to radiation emission. Most of the researchers concentrated on biological and behavioral changes in a honey bee due to radiation effects. For that, the real-time radiation levels have experimented but the different technical perspectives such as radiation emission levels, handset radiation emission measures and multi-sources of radiation are needed to be considered during research. This study aimed to provide possible research extensions of colony collapse disordercaused by cell tower and mobile handsets."
