Esta página me parece interesantísima y necesaria para profesores de EOI, especialmente por la parte de Creative Writing y la de Teaching Composition. Sabemos que uno de los handicaps de nuestros alumnos en las EOI es la escritura. Generalmente se pueden tener alumnos muy buenos en lectura o comprensión oral, incluso en expresión oral pero cuando se llega a la expresión escrita las cosas cambian. Se les tiene que enseñar de cero ya que generalmente estos alumnos vienen de la secundaria o de academias privadas donde no se les da a la escritura la importancia que realmente tiene y sin embargo, en la EOI se la considera como una competencia más con la misma importancia y la misma puntuación que las otras tres competencias. En teacher2b, las dos secciones anteriormente mencionadas traen detallados ejemplos de diferentes escritos como artículos, ensayos, cartas, etc., que los alumnos deben dominar especialmente en el tercer ciclo de las enseñanzas de la EOI. Mis alumnos de Avanzado tienen serios problemas con la expresión escrita y esta web me ha ayudado bastante a la hora de explicar y poner ejemplos. La web contiene una parte dedicada a Teaching Strategies en la cual de forma concisa y clara se explican y desarrollan algunos de los aspectos fundamentales para lograr unas clases completas y úitles para los alumnos.

Este blog es muy completo y ofrece muchos recursos para profesores de inglés. Tiene una sección muy buena para trabajar con alumnos adultos, empezando por un texto sobre las características de los alumnos adultos, que es muy interesante y verdadero y muy útil para los profesores que hemos trabajado en institutos y volvemos a adultos después de mucho tiempo. Hay que cambiar el chip.
