I work as an ICT Adviser at Akershus County Council in the Department of Education. We have 34 upper secondary schools and my responsibility is to design, develop, implement and evaluate pedagogical ICT solutions, professional development programs for teachers and analysis/evaluation of our work by using scientific methods to investigate our initiatives to improve our education. I am your teacher in this collaborative learning activity and will support and guide you through the activity. I have worked with educational technology at universities and schhols for nearly 9 years now. Looking forward to do this learning activity with you:)
Hi, i'm Andreas Kuswara, as Ole explained, i'm originally from Indonesia, and now living, studying, and working in Sydney, Australia. I'm a PhD candidate in Education at Macquarie University on my final year, and struggling to maintain time to complete my thesis :D.. i also work at the Macquarie ICT Innovation Center (MacICT http://web1.macquarieict.schools.nsw.edu.au/) which is a center established as a cooperation between Macquarie University and the Australian Department of Education, to introduce various technology which enables or support learning to the public schools in NSW. I am part of the mobile learning team, officially as the research officer in that team lasing between the team and the university's research interest, although i also serve as tech junkie :D to support any troubleshooting required out in the field as needed. previously when i was in Indonesia, i was in charge of the design, implementation and then support of the e-learning infrastructure and policy of one of the biggest private university in Jakarta. if anyone interested in these project, can see the details at my linked-in account. looking forward to cooperate and learn together with everyone here.
Hi, I am Jørn Hoelstad Pettersen. I have been teaching English, History and Social Studies in various Norwegian high schools for the past 26 years (as well as one year in a Fulbright exchange program in the US). Currently I am teaching at a high school in Drøbak, which is located half-an-hour drive from Oslo. Along with four other teachers I also have a part-time position as "digital innovator" for the county. We serve all the 34 high schools in the county, giving workshops and courses on the pedagogical use of ICT.
