Technology Review published by MIT, describes an experiment which shows bots may not simply be a form of irritation. The research project started when a group of freelance web researchers created "sophisticated Twitter bots, dubbed 'socialbots,' that can not only fool people into thinking they are real people, but also serve as virtual social connectors, speeding up the natural rate of human-to-human communication."

UNITED - a music video promoting tolerance and peace to young people the world over. The music video, United, was produced for use by educators, law enforcement and youth officials to promote human rights and advocate non-violence amongst young people. Subtitled in 18 languages, its universal message of tolerance and peace has to date reached more than 50 million.

Dedicated to improving peace in the world by promoting projects that the organization endorses. They also have a Global Peace Ranking Index each year that tells you how peaceful each country is. This site has some great resources for using social media deeper purposes.

Kayan New Generation Youth is a network dedicated to spreading Human Rights awareness by providing current events, news as well as, research resources online. It is also dedicated to promoting peace, education and democracy to the Kayan community.

EMIPSEA is part of a themaic programme of FORUM-ASIA that covers seven countries: Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, East Timor, Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. The programme seeks to build capacity for advocacy, enable access to jusice and the rule of law, and insure the enjoyment of human rights for ethnic minoriies and Indigenous Peoples.

The goal of this project is to promote economic well‐being in remote, rural areas through scientific research based on the principles of the digital and knowledge divides. We advocate that humans can, through their deployment and usage of IT, generate, acquire, disseminate, and utilize the know‐how so as to achieve marked improvement in economic outcomes.

They are told to look at the error log, which to the uninitiated does seem to reveal many things are seriously wrong with computer.
