About Being Lijit ! "well-founded: well reasoned and sincere!" I have decided to add a few comments about Lijit are they award winning who knows ! Sincere is a very interesting term it can be well used or Just what I call Semantic Jazz-I have installed Lijit on my weblogs and not being a Teche I have asked for help, from most applications asking for tech support is for the most part shaking hands with and empty glove-I am beginning to think that Geeks who add contact forms add them because they have nothing else to do and feel it makes them look like they care about their clients ,I have never been refused assistance of any kind from Lijit and I full well understand tech support is costly ! I also know that  at times it may be frustrating for a professional programmer to constantly answer questions that are second nature to them !   For years I have followed the Science of General Semantics and it has a lot of teach people about communication !  The Tech Support at Lijit seems to be framed around Effective Communication !  Maybe the Folks at Lijit Read A few pages From S I ,

Mulberry ice cream (Scripting News) - 0 views

Mulberry ice cream Tuesday, July 14, 2009 by Dave Winer. The editorial team of InBerkeley.com had lunch today at Saul's in North Berkeley. I had a bowl of cold borscht with sour cream, and a toasted bagel with lox and cream cheese.   After lunch we all went down the block to Chez Panisse and had a Bastille Day special mulberry ice cream cone for $2.

Presidential Attire « Wdivflashpoint's Weblog - 0 views

Presidential Attire      No, no, this isn't a rant on what the President chose to wear today for his speech in Warren.  (His uniform of white shirt and solid tie, no jacket, always gives him his desired air of industrious elegance.)  No, my concern here was with the attire of many of those who were lucky enough to have tickets to attend.      I'm all for America looking like its casual self.  And with most of the guests having to arrive several hours before the President's arrival, it meant a long, very warm day without a single cloud to provide a moment's shade.  There are also security realities which, as any air traveler knows, can lead you to pare down your wardrobe to a detector-friendly minimum.  And yet… it is the President.

Disqus Adds FriendFeed Integration-to Follow Fred Wilson Author Seth Godin at PDF 2007 Image via Wikipedia Why I follow Fred Wilson ! http://fredwilson.vc/ This article on http://disqus.com/ is written by Mr Wilson A master at Content Creation. Fred Wilson and Seth Godin http://sethgodin.typepad.com/ both have the ability to capsulize. capsulize - put in a short or concise form; reduce in volume; "capsulize the news"! It is a skill mostly prevalent in Poetry. I use Disqus and am currently having this site rebuilt and it is not installed yet ! I miss it but still have access to post with Disqus on other sites ! Mr Wilson an investor in many applications like Glue from Adaptive Blue always states his position in an article, if he is an investor in the Application discloses the fact ! Personally if what he is reviewing is a good product I really don't care who owns it but he is probably right other wise you play "Ok With Corrections!" Mr Wilson's Wife has created a great content platform http://gothamgal.blogs.com/ My wife follows it on Tabbloid a free service from Hewlett Packard tabbloid_2009-01-10_0901-gotham-gal2 I also have her feed in my Gmail -Gotham Gal's blog belongs in a newspaper it a true social media vehicle! I hope find following my reads intersting since I am a a Man Of Good Taste and absorb good content with Gusto ! You can also find me at link below http://msandler.tumblr.com/ MarshalSandler.com is a playground of ideas, introductions, and synergies. Marshal exhibits a blogging style that is less about tamping out his thoughts and more about the juggling, rearranging, juxtaposing, and syndicating of the content of other people and companies - a communications cubism of sorts. There's no room for crap, but there is plenty of room for friendly people with interesting ideas. Marshal's day is the search for new technologies, new ideas, new relationships, and new things to curse happily about. So, participate. Cut bait.

  • July 26, 2008 Listening, respect and teamwork Filed under: , — Scripting News @ 5:15 pm Scoble writes about Silicon Valley VC disease. I almost wrote a comment there saying that I've tried many times over many years to get VCs to invest in ideas I had for products, some of which turned out to be quite successful, but I thought better of it. Why single out the VCs, when the problem is much broader. Here's what it is, from my point of view.

June 26, 2009 API showcase: Linked Galaxy Sitting on such a powerful contextual API that returns semantic data is never easy for creative people. We announced a while ago that we output semantic data as part of our API results, meaning that we connect identified concepts to Linked Data cloud. Databases that we link to include Freebase, Semantic CrunchBase and DBpedia. In order to explore one of the possibilities that this brings to developers, @andraz created Linked Galaxy project. Linked Galaxy is a tool that uses semantic entities that were identified by Zemanta in given text and connects it to DBpedia and Freebase by following connections between them. This way it's possible to uncover underlying connections between the terms that might not be otherwise obvious to the writer. They are presented in a graph, making it easy to quickly scan the output. A text about Hudson River landing earlier this year produces the following first order graph from DBpedia:

Are you there, God? It's me, Detroit | Freep.com | Detroit Free Press - 0 views

City Councilwoman Monica Conyers is only the latest public official to summon the Almighty when the going gets tough. On Tuesday, when it became clear the feds were closing in on Conyers, she described herself to viewers of her weekly TV show as "a child of God," and told viewers "if you're not praying for me, then you're just adding to the problem." Then she added: "All these things that are going on right now ... I believe in my heart that God will deliver me from them." C'mon, councilwoman. God is not going to help with a federal bribery rap. God doesn't work that way. Just ask Kwame Kilpatrick. Nobody in memory called on God as often as the disgraced mayor. And the number of his heavenly shout-outs seemed to increase last year as the pressure grew greater. When Kilpatrick was in trouble and refusing to resign, he mentioned God so much you'd have thought He was deputy mayor. And in the end, God did not help Kilpatrick. He had to resign, go to jail, forfeit his law license, move to Texas, rent a house in a fancy suburb and buy an Escalade.

From Atoms (GM) to Bits (Bing) « Ms12's Weblog - 0 views

Date: June 1, 2009 7:40:07 AM GMT-04:00 Subject: From Atoms (GM) to Bits (Bing) Source: Continuations It is an interesting juxtaposition to have GM file for bankruptcy the same day that Microsoft launches its new search engine bing. It would be difficult to find a clearer illustration of how the shift from atoms to bits is transforming industries. It is not just the recession that is causing a smaller demand for cars - the demand will never be the same. Using the net, we can share cars more efficiently. Video conferencing reduces the need to drive for business. And streaming video (search for it on bing) may cut out a few trips to the movies.

Seth's Blog: Prizes, kindles, subscriptions, tweets-Subscribe Now Posted on May 29, 2009 by ms12 Image via CrunchBase Prizes, kindles, subscriptions, tweets You can get alerts whenever this blog is updated by following @thisissethsblog on Twitter. Twitter is immersive. It washes over you. But what happens when a great link or clever post goes by?  Squidoo just launched a promotion around the new TwttrList tool. The power of this tool is that it turns the momentary stream of tweets into a permanent sign post. A curated best of instead of a random time-based river. You can chronicle a conference, or highlight great posts about your brand or event. This lets other people find your collection of the best tweets on Google, or see a series of messages without the noise in between. Here are a few good ones. Give it a try. Maybe you'll win something.  Posted by Seth Godin on May 28, 2009 and check out  http://www.squidoo.com/twttrlist-win-a-kindle Related articles by Zemanta
