With the development of science and technology, the development of electronic technology, LCD module is widely used, we also see a lot of life, for the LCD module we need to pay attention to in the assembling and use of what, how to operate is the best, you know? The following is a look at the liquid crystal module that is, LCD/LCM in the use of what to pay attention to.
一. Treatment of protective film
The protective film is to protect the product from being dirty or damaged. There is a protective film attached to the surface of the finished product of the installed module to prevent contamination of the display surface during assembling. Therefore, it shall not be removed before the end of the whole machine assembling to avoid contamination or damage to the display surface.
二. Add liner
It is best to add a pad of about 0.1mm between the module and the front panel. The panel should also be kept flat to avoid distortion after assembling.
三. Strictly prevent static electricity
The control and drive circuits in the module are low-voltage and micro-power CMOS circuits, which are easy to be broken by electrostatic breakdown. Therefore, in the operation, assembling and use should be extremely careful, to strictly prevent static electricity. To do this:
1. Do not touch the external lead, circuit board and IC by hand;
2. The soldering iron used for welding must be well grounded without electricity leakage.
3, if must be directly touched, should make the human body and the module well grounded, or the hand and the faucet or the metal frame of the operation table contact to discharge.
四. Matters needing attention during assembling operation of LCD/LCM:
1, The LCD module is carefully designed and assembled, do not arbitrarily processing, repair;
2. The metal frame claw shall not be twisted or disassembled at will; Do not modify or process PCB appearance, assembling hole, circuit and parts; Do not modify the conductive tape; Do not modify any internal brackets; Do not touch, fall, bend, twist modules and backlight parts;
3. The four mounting holes shall be grounded to prevent electromagnetic interference and external noise.
五. Welding, when welding the outer lead and interface circuit of the module, shall be carried out in accordance with the following provisions
1. If the connection between the liquid crystal module and other peripheral circuits requires welding or changing the original connector, please confirm that the liquid crystal module has passed the quality inspection in advance;
3. Never physically damage the LCD screen and PCB, however it will be beyond repair.
4, when welding do not let the solder drop to the LCD screen on the circuit board, however because of the circuit short circuit and make the screen display abnormal.
六. Use and maintenance of modules
1. The external lead of the liquid crystal module is never allowed to be connected wrong, however it may cause over current, over voltage and other harmful phenomena to the components of the liquid crystal module;
2. When the module USES the access power and disconnects the power, the signal level can only be input after the positive power (5±0.25V) is stably connected. If the input signal level is disconnected or before the power supply is stabilized, the IC and other circuits in the module may be damaged.
3. The contrast, Angle of view and temperature and driving voltage are closely related when the lattice LCD module is displayed. Therefore, if the VEE is adjusted too high, it will not only affect the display, but also shorten the service life of the module.
4. When the module is used below the specified operating temperature range, the display response is slow, and when the module is used above the specified operating temperature range, the entire display surface will show a full display state, this phenomenon is not damaged module, only to return to the specified temperature range, everything will return to normal. (should not be used or stored outside the storage limit temperature range, if the temperature is lower than the crystallization temperature, the liquid crystal will crystallize, destroy the directional layer, make the device scrapped; If the temperature is too high, the liquid crystal will become an isotropic liquid, losing its liquid crystal state and thus losing its function as a liquid crystal device.
5. Press hard on the display site, and abnormal display will occur. At this time cut off the power, wait a moment, repower, that is to return to normal.
6. Do not knock against the IC on the PCB board on the back of the module to prevent short circuit of adjacent pins.
7, when there are water droplets on the screen, to quickly wipe off: prolonged contact with water droplets can make the screen color or spots.
8, when there is a stain on the screen, with absorbent cotton or other soft cloth quickly wipe.
七. Storage of modules
For long-term storage (e.g., several years), we recommend the following:
Put into polyethylene bag (preferably with anti-static coating) and seal the mouth; Place in the dark, avoid bright light; Never place anything on the surface; Strictly avoid storage outside the limit temperature and humidity (the polarizer used for liquid crystal is afraid of high temperature and humidity).
