In the current scenario of globalization, before talking about what the impact media has on the society it is important for us to know what are the vital functions of mass media; it endows us with news and information to socialize, take judgement and create opinions; educating the people regarding their liberties (rights), ethical, social and spiritual responsibilities; and entertainment helps to get out of the boredom.
