State-owned National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) Saturday announced a 371 percent rise in net profit at Rs.391.48 crore for the fourth quarter of 2009-10 ended March 31.
State-owned National Aluminium Co Ltd (NALCO) has produced 4.31 lakh tonnes of aluminium in 2009-10, an increase of 19.4 per cent, against 3.61 lakh tonnes in 2008-09, the company said on Saturday.
In view of lowering international prices of aluminium products, the state-owned National Aluminium Co. Ltd has reduced the price of its products for the domestic market by Rs.7,000 per tonne, a senior company official said on Thursday.
